Gina Bernard is a transgender woman who writes and lives in Bemidji, Minnesota, where she teaches English at the public high school. Her poetry has recently appeared or is forthcoming in Burningword Literary Journal, Cape Rock: Poetry, New Plains Review, and Leveler Poetry.
